Harness and Leather Shop
Moved to Dakota City during November 1990. It was donated by Dwain and Lorraine Otte of Randolph. Originally
used as a farm repair shop, it was located on the Russell Pflaum farm near Randolph.

The building now contains harness and shoe repair equipment, much of which came from the Frank Mahowald
Shoe and Harness Shop in Lakeville.

Earlier in this century, such shops were an integral part of any rural community.
