Dakota City Heritage Village has a number of
internship opportunities available for interested high school and
college
students. These unpaid positions will run for approximately three
or four
months, or approximately a school semester—depending on the
project.
Dakota City’s Program Director and Curator/ Collections and Exhibit
Manager
will work with students and their professors to develop internships to
meet
specific learning objectives.
All applicants should demonstrate the following: general knowledge of the humanities, particularly history; organizational skills; strong communication skills; the ability to manage multiple priorities; and the ability to work independently and with a variety of people.

students
