full day 9am-3pm
half day 9am-12:30pm or 11:30am-3pm
full day $50

Location
Dakota City Heritage Village, 4008 - 220th street west, Farmington on the Dakota County Fairgrounds

Children age 5 to 9 will get an introduction to life in 1900 at our one-day Try-It Day Camp. Hands-on activities in each building will help children understand a different way of life from long ago. There is a half-day option, however, campers will be in different buildings in the morning and afternoon for a full day of 1900 experiences. If you choose the half-day option, be aware that your child will not be in all the available buildings. All campers (full and half-day) need to bring their own bag lunch along with a water bottle. We will serve a hand-dipped ice cream cone from our old-fashioned drugstore for dessert. For more information call our office at 651-460-8387 or email education@dakotacity.org

Each camper must have transportation to and from Dakota City, located on the Dakota County Fairgrounds in Farmington, and bring a bag lunch and water bottle. All supplies for activities and an afternoon snack are provided by Dakota City.

The cost is $50 for the full day or $35 for half day. Limited scholarships are available; if needed please contact the office at 651-460-8387.

Space is limited and the registration deadline is June 7 or when camp is full.

Please fill out the following Try It Registration and email to education@dakotacity.org or mail to Dakota City, Attn Day Camp, 4008 – 220th Street West, Farmington, MN 55024.

Once payment and registration form are received, you will receive verification of being registered for camp.
